For the first time in history Blackpool Illuminations will be running over Christmas and into the New Year!
There are extra events and shows on to make this festive season especially special, don't miss what could be a once in a lifetime Christmas in Blackpool with the Illuminations.
The launch event will be in front of Blackpool Tower on the Festival headland - there will be a festive village, log cabins, light shows, illuminated Christmas trees,simulated snowfalls and a skating rink offering FREE skating.

To continue its epic busiest year, capitalising on the staycation, Blackpool is pulling out all the stops to ensure visitors can visit throughout the winter and be assured of plenty of things to do and places to visit.
With Bavarian Style Christmas Chalets, Winter Gardens Wonderland will spread right throughout the resort, both inside the historic Grade II listed Winter Gardens and outside in the main square and surrounding streets.
Featuring a magnificent Santa’s Grotto and live entertainment, with retail traders selling an array of quality products. Outside will feature Food and Drink traders as well as other limited numbers of general traders.

Your evening will start with a sumptuous traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings before entertainment begins with Live music by an incredible big dance band, dance demonstrations by the Open British Championship Formation Team ‘The Fever Latin Team Preston’ and a specially chosen cabaret for the evening. All compered by your host Mr Stephen Holland.
This evening will be an annual date for every dancer’s calendar and promises to be one of the best dance evenings this year.

The New Years Eve Family party also features a bouncy castle with bars open until 1am and a family friendly menu available till late.

Get ready to say goodbye to 2021 and hello to 2022 as the skies above Blackpool seafront light up with a spectacular family fireworks display complemented by free skating, projection shows and entertainment.
The fireworks will launch from opposite The Blackpool Tower at approximately 5pm making it suitable for all ages.
